Dan joined Calm Futures as PBS Manager in 2026. He has worked in the care industry for 12 years, starting as a Support Worker in adult day services and working his way up through various management roles in day services, community support and supported living.
Since the very start of his care career, Dan has worked with individuals with complex behaviours, and finds nothing more rewarding than supporting people to reduce their challenging behaviours and improve their quality of life. Dan has cemented this passion with a Masters degree in Positive Behaviour Support from the renowned Tizard Centre at the University of Kent.
Dan is focused on positive outcomes and increased opportunities, for the People We Support as well as the staff who support them, and works to equip everyone with the skills and guidance they need to provide pro-active, person-centred support, with a focus on diversity, equality and inclusion.
Outside of work, Dan indulges in TV, movies, books, music and video games, when he’s not busy looking after his three children and four cats that is!
