Sabrina has worked in health and social care since 2009, bringing with her a wealth of experience, a natural caring instinct, and an unwavering commitment to the people she supports.
Her journey into care is deeply personal. Having both a daughter and mother with disabilities, alongside caring for her father during the final stages of his life, Sabrina has long understood the importance of compassionate, person-centred support. After beginning her career in elderly care and spending time working within policing, she found her true passion in supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and individuals with complex needs.
Beginning as a Support Worker in 2015, Sabrina progressed through a variety of roles, working her way to Registered Manager over an eight-year period before joining Calm Futures in February 2022. Since then, she has played an instrumental role in the growth of the organisation, having worked across and supported the development of every Essex service before becoming Registered Manager of Daniel Kirby House in 2025.
Passionate about Positive Behaviour Support and least restrictive practice, Sabrina is also a CPI Trainer for the group, equipping teams with the skills and confidence to communicate effectively, de-escalate situations, and support people safely and compassionately. Known for her hands-on leadership style, Sabrina prefers to work alongside her teams, building strong relationships with both colleagues and the people we support.
Outside of work, Sabrina enjoys exploring holistic wellbeing and spiritual healing, as well as spending quality time with her daughter and son-in-law. She also loves heading off on adventures with Luna, her much-loved miniature Dachshund.
